I-RIIDE is pleased to announce the launch of an official collaboration with the State of Fribourg’s Mobility Service (SMoFR), strengthening the development of integrated digital mobility solutions across the canton.
This collaboration represents strong institutional recognition of I-RIIDE’s vision to build a unified digital mobility ecosystem connecting parking, EV charging, vehicle rental, shared mobility and public transport through a single platform.
Over the past months, I-RIIDE has worked with a growing number of mobility stakeholders across the Canton of Fribourg to accelerate practical integrations and improve access to local mobility services. The collaboration with SMoFR further strengthens this momentum and supports the development of innovative solutions designed to make mobility in Fribourg more accessible, connected and sustainable.
“This collaboration represents an important signal for our company. It confirms that addressing the mobility challenges of tomorrow requires closer cooperation between public institutions, local operators and digital innovation. Our ambition is not to replace existing services, but to make them work better together for the benefit of citizens.”
Dereck Gibeyo, Founder & CEO of I-RIIDE
As part of this collaboration, I-RIIDE will continue expanding its mobility ecosystem across the canton by progressively integrating local operators and improving the visibility and accessibility of their services through a common digital interface.
What this means for Fribourg
The collaboration will contribute to:
- Greater visibility for local mobility services;
- Simplified access to shared mobility and vehicle rental solutions;

- Stronger coordination between mobility stakeholders.
This collaboration further strengthens I-RIIDE’s position as a Swiss mobility technology company, rooted in Fribourg and focused on developing practical, user-centric solutions with regional impact.
